Akshay, Sonakshi unveil ‘Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai Again’

The sequel to the successful periodic gangster film ‘Once Upon A Time in Mumbaai’(2010) is all set to release on 8th of August this year. The sequel is aptly named ‘Once Upon A Time in Mumbaai Again’ and stars Akshay Kumar, Sonakshi Sinha
Sonakshi Sinha and Imran Khan. Milan Luthria is directing the flick, while Ekta Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor are producing the project. The expectations are very high from the film and it is expected to be a block blaster at the Bollywood box office. Recently the first look of the sequel was unveiled by the trio of Akshay, Imran and Sonakshi at Mumbai.
The event was organized in a set that was made to look like an authentic chawl. These were the buildings that made up for most of the Bombay city’s landscape during the era which is depicted in the movie, ‘Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai’. The chawl looked authentic with old style lighting arrangements, bylanes and cheering crowd from the rooftops.
The actors and actresses came to the unveiling event as the characters they are playing in the movie. Akshay Kumar who is playing the role of underworld gangster Shoaib Khan made a classy entrance in a vintage car that defined luxury and elegance in the bygone era. He looked dashing in a tight fitting black trouser, black shoe, black coat and dark sunglass with well oiled back brushed hair style. Akshay looks too good and freezing cool.
Imran Khan portrays a tapori type gangster, named Aslam. True to the character, Imran made an appearance in a true tapori style. He was seen entering the chawl standing on the back of a bike. From the look of the bike driver, it seems he is one of the concerned security guards of Imran. Imran looked quite chique in the unshaven look with jeans jacket and deep yellow shirt. Imran says he studied the movies of Jackie Shroff and Anil Kapoor to learn the ways of the underworld in the 1980s.
Sonakshi is playing the role of a film star in the movie, named Yasmin. True to her character she appeared at the event wearing an all black salwar suit with heavy golden embroidery that gave her a regal look. Incidentally this is the third time after ‘Joker’ and ‘Rowdy Rathore’ that Sonakshi and Akshay are acting together in a film again.
