Bollywood hunk John Abraham has been named the sexiest man alive by People magazine this year and his girlfriend Priya Runchal’s reaction was something very flattering and also reflects that she has a good sense of humor.
When John Abraham went up to Priya and informed her about the sexiest title, wonder what she said, 'Are you serious they gave it to you this year? You should have been getting it every year!' I think that's the best compliment I got," the 39-year-old said here Wednesday while unveiling the magazine's cover.
Priya usually is very reserved and she talks very less and John says it is good to have a grateful partner like Priya.
"I asked her (how she feels about it), and she said 'Oh, that's good.' That is it, she is very reserved and answers very limited.
"Well, I am sure she is very happy. It is nice to be appreciated for your work and when your partner is appreciative, I think it is very special," he said.
It was only last year John Abraham made his relationship with Priya public when he went to an event with his girlfriend. For quite sometime, marriage of John and Priya are going the rounds and the hunk had also spoke about his marriage off late.
John found true love in investment banker Priya after breaking up with his nine years old relationship with Bipasha Basu.
He is will be next in ‘Race 2’ and he said about his role, "After 'Dhoom', 'Race 2' is the first film I have done in a similar space. John Abraham is back in 'Race 2' exactly like the Kabir in 'Dhoom'," he said.
