Anushka Sharma is upset with media cooking up false stories about her and business tycoon Siddharth Mallya. The actress claims that the stories of their link-up are completely untrue and baseless.
The article occupied space in various tabloids when it is heard that Anushka and Siddharth board a private flight to reach their destination. The story carrying headline ‘Is love in the air, Sid’ miffed Anushka who will be next seen in Shahrukh Khan starrer YRF ‘Jab Tak Hain Jaan’.
Her spokesperson cleared the weather saying, “No one from the publication got in touch with Anushka, me or anyone else from her team and instead chose to incorrectly mention at the end of the article that ‘she was not available for comment’.”
The spokesperson goes on to add, “It is appalling that while the other party was spoken to and their version carried in the story, the journalist chose to go ahead and print the article without taking our perspective.”
She also appeals to the media not to crop up false stories, “I request you to please refrain from carrying a false story based on the article.”
On the other hand, a source close to Junior Mallya confirmed the story, “Yes, it’s true that the two flew to Heathrow and one other destination. Something’s definitely cooking. It was a small vacation. Anushka has been busy shooting and she wanted a break. They share great chemistry and seem to enjoy each other’s company.”
Siddhartha Mallya too denied the story calling it "complete madness" on Twitter.
